Estimates
Contractor estimates your clients approve online
Line items from your price book, plus scope, payment terms, warranty and a deposit. The client approves or declines from a link, the answer is recorded with the date, and the approved estimate is locked.

The problem
A price in a text message is not a contract
A number typed into a text, or a document finished at the kitchen table, carries no scope, no terms and no deposit. When the work changes, there is nothing to point to.
Once approved, the estimate becomes an invoice the client pays by card or ACH in one step, and a job opens for the work.
How it works
- 01
Build from the price book
Products and services saved once, with cost and price. The margin is visible before the estimate goes out.
- 02
Send the link
The client receives a clean estimate with your business name, logo, scope, terms and warranty.
- 03
Record the answer
Approved or declined online, with the date. An approved estimate is locked, and a job opens for the work.
What you get
Deposit on the estimate
The deposit is part of what the client approves, next to the scope, terms and warranty.
Scope, terms and warranty
Every estimate states what is included, how you get paid and what you guarantee.
Valid until a date
An unanswered estimate expires on the date you set, so an old price cannot be approved later.
Locked once approved
What the client approved is never rewritten. A change is a new estimate.
Your business on every document
Business name, address, logo and, if you choose, your EIN on every estimate and invoice.
Customers and leads
Every customer has a stage (lead, active) and a source, with their estimates, invoices and payments on one record.

Estimates: questions
Does my client need an account to approve?
No. They open the link, read the estimate and approve or decline it. The date of the answer is saved.
Can I change an estimate after it is approved?
No. Send a new estimate for the change. The original stays exactly as it was approved.
What happens after approval?
A job opens for the work, and the estimate becomes an invoice in one step when you are ready to bill.
Can I ask for a deposit?
Yes. The deposit is part of the estimate the client approves.
Where do the line items come from?
From your price book: products and services saved once, with cost and price. A line that is not on the list can be added by hand.
